Bushcrafts ash flat bowHunting bows

Make a bow and learn how to use it

Learn how to make a "father and son" bow, an effective hunting bow with built in strengthening which helps get round some of the complications of finding the more demanding quality of stave to make the ash flat bow you can see in the picture here. Once you've made your bow we'll get in some practice on standard targets before going into the woods to do some field archery.

Please note it is illegal to hunt for game using a bow in the UK. Field archery however is a great sport which gives you some of the challenge. There are clubs throughout the UK.
