Foraging for wild edible mushrooms

Sunday 8th October

Thornley Woodlands nr Rowlands Gill

15.00 per person

13.30 to 15.30

There’s a great deal of apprehension about eating wild fungi in Britain and although we do well to treat them with respect, fungi can be a wonderful source of food and can add a great deal of interest and variation to our meals. Bruce Ferguson has been foraging for wild food for more than thirty years; join him and find out what’s edible and what’s not in the world of mushrooms and toadstools!

Adult activity. Participants should be 13 years old or over and accompanied by an adult.
