exploring the natural world activities for childrenWoodland nature detectives

Become nature detectives; find the hidden wildlife

After some special activities to prepare us to become good animal trackers, including a hunting technique once used by the native North American peoples, we’ll explore a woodland looking for the tracks, trails and signs left by the secretive animals that live there. We'll then go on a bug hunt to investigate some of the woodland's smaller inhabitants.
