Cooking wild foraged
An introduction for outdoor practitioners to
cooking wild food on the camp fire
is this workshop for
working with groups in the outdoors who want to develop foraging and
wild cooking as part of their delivery package. Also accessible to
anyone with an interest in enjoying wild food. This is a follow on from
the foraging workshop and builds on this workshop. Knowledge of edible
plants is assumed to the level taught on the foraging workshop.
- Forage for all the wild ingredients to be cooked
- Learn a few different fire lighting techniques
including for wet conditions
- Learn a few different fire set ups for cooking
- Cook 4 or 5 different dishes with a high
component of foraged food on an open fire. For example depending on
