There is a wealth of really tasty wild mushrooms; we'll show you how to identify them safely so you can enjoy exploring this facinating and under-used wild food resource. The best time of year to find wild mushrooms is from August through to October however it does depend on how the weather has been as to what the wild mushroom crop will be like. Give us a ring to discuss your booking and preferred dates.

Duration: 3 hours

Cost: 75 for first two people, 15 per additional group member. Individual one-to-one booking available at 75.

The activity leader has been foraging for wild food since the early 1980s, is qualified through the Institute for Outdoor Learning to teach bushcrafts to groups and has been involved in bushcrafts and woodland skills for over thirty years.

Location: North Pennines - Hamsterley Forest or Kielder or a woodland near you.
