The club is designed for people with a love of wild food whether you are a complete beginner to foraging or are more experienced and wanting to hone your wild food skills.

Club benefits include:

Your own wild food mentor

You'll have ongoing access to an experienced wild food mentor to help you with advice and to answer your foraging questions including help with identification.

Five wild food forays a year

You'll have access to five wild food forays in a range of locations across the north east over the course of the year covering foraging a wide range of wild food from hedgerows to woodlands to the seashore from shell fish and seaweeds to wild herbs, fruits, roots, nuts and wild mushrooms. See below for forays in 2021.

Members wild food forum

A Facebook group for members to post on and share foraging experiences, discoveries, recipes, new wild food ideas and so on.

Wild Food Mentor

Your wild food mentor is Bruce Ferguson. Bruce has been foraging for wild food for nearly 40 years and has been teaching foraging skills since 1985. Thousands of people have attended his courses and foraging sessions over the decades and he has often appeared on television and radio sharing his knowledge and identification skills, including Look North, More Tales from Northumberland with Robson Green and Made in Tyne and Wear.

Savings through membership

Just the five wild food forays would cost more than 400 if booked privately.

The value of ongoing wild food mentoring is much more and could save you an upset or two!
